Husband, father, singer/songwriter, producer, handyman, and hopeless romantic. He's both Mr. Mom and music programming director at a church. Check out a little bit of his heart & soul here. We met in 2004, where he spotted me at one of his gigs. Apparently, he decided right then and there that I'd be his wife someday. He told me so and didn't stop until he got his wish, four years later. We've been dreaming, struggling, thriving, procreating, and laughing together ever since.
Lucas Grey...
Part I of my stepmonster brood. He's twelve, going on twenty. He likes his hair long and his schoolwork easy. Football and long-boarding keep him lean, and his baby sisters keep him tender. Lucas is going to make a great dad, and I pray he winds up with a whole bunch of kiddos.
Christopher Avery...
Part II of my stepmonster brood. Avery is ten, and he'd like to be ten forever. This is the boy who taught me to how to be a mom. This is the son who never ceases to surprise me with his energy and helpfulness. He's currently homeschooled and prefers to spend as much time in trees as possible.
Ames Emmanuel...
The boy after whom this blog was originally named. In case you're wondering, it's pronounced aimz. He's named after his great-grandfather. Ames spends most of his days singing and playing the drums. He's got a supernatural sense of rhythm, and it's only a matter of time before you see him playing alongside his daddy.
Isaiah Jane & Honor Rose...
The fourth-boy-turned-twin-girls that joined us nearly two years ago. Isaiah Jane is older, and she's got a few special needs you can read about here. These girls are the apples of all of the eyes. They flirt and giggle with their brothers all day long, and they keep us smiling ear to ear.
Coming in July... surprise!
